If you reckon you can pull your marks up to top 15, then stay. But if you can't then let's think about it. Would you rather come bottom 20 in Advanced or in top 5 in Standard (assuming you will start trying this year).

@Above, that is kinda like me with Accounting. I am doing Accounting which finishes at April next year but the major test is around in 1month, so I will have 11 units (5 subjects including MX1) around Easter. n Good luck on HSC.

Most of my teachers said 13 is too much, or is that maybe my school is dumb o-o?

I have currently 13units (pretty sure listing my subjects is pointless) I have went around my school and asked teachers about this question and got mixed answers. Right know I'm unsure of dropping a subject or not, so I want to know the Pros and Cons about 13units and 11units. All suggestions...

I suggest changing schools might be the 'best' option here. Also my school does something similar but no where near as dramatic. Top 75 students gets to do Advanced English, they are cutting that into 50 next year. Same with Maths, only top 70 gets do to Extension 1 and from that Extension...
