Good luck guys, not much activity on this board, but i guess its a small course. Are you guys memorising essays and short stories, or summarising them? My essay is a daunting 1700 words and my creatives 1400, r.i.p hand.

I think it was harder than the HSC exams, but easier than a few trial papers i had done before. I think maybe 68-72 %?

band 5 cut off is probably 62, i really can't tell, b4 would definately be 40-45? or something

77 definately, 81 for an easy test, 76-77 for a hard test. i think in retrospect many people got a lot of questions wrong

simpson rule employs rectangles, whilst trapezoidal employs trapeziums. diagram shaped like a trapezium, thus trapeziums would better fit the area

As long as you know what you are talking about, and you can actually TEACH(something a lot of tutors struggle with), you can easily do 30$/hr.

have an idea of when you want a draft, preferably as soon as possible. do a lot of research. make sure you love the thing you are doing your major work on. send drafts to your teachers, make revisions. don't neglect your reflection statement.

yeah, i agree a super annuation or a very abstract series question + geometry.

^ pretty much this, it's about 60% short stories, 15% critical responses, 15% everything else. I highly suggest picking something original or being an amazing short story writer.
