    Should I transfer to Commerce/Laws from Economics/Laws?

Not too sure then. But I spoke with someone at the business school, and she told me that you can do that Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

    Should I transfer to Commerce/Laws from Economics/Laws?

    Should I transfer to Commerce/Laws from Economics/Laws?

The 2014 handbook says you can major in Economics. The 2013 one says you can't... So obviously they would have changed the rules Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

    Should I transfer to Commerce/Laws from Economics/Laws?

That's what I've heard too, but regardless of whether I do comm/law or eco/law, I'll be doing an econ major. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

    Should I transfer to Commerce/Laws from Economics/Laws?

I don't think employers will regard the two things differently. Btw I have already completed one year of study Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

    Should I transfer to Commerce/Laws from Economics/Laws?

I have always wanted to do an economics major, but I had been told by a staff member that you couldn't do Comm/Laws with an Economics major. Just recently, I have found out that you actually can do this. From what I can see, the main advantage of doing Commerce instead of Economics is the...

    Texbooks and the COOP website

Our lecturer actually said that it would be helpful...but it really depends on the person and how you like to study. I have PM'd you in regards to the textbook price Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

    Texbooks and the COOP website

I only used it 3 or 4 times in the whole semester. It has some online quizzes which are OK, and has some summaries and practice questions. It didn't help me that much...

    Texbooks and the COOP website

Yeah that's right. Its called myeconlab, but I think you can buy it separately as well. Otherwise if you buy from coop, its approx 150 for the book and myeconlab. The book should still be the same though, but you should confirm with your lecturer

And I have a copy for sale if you're interested!

    Texbooks and the COOP website

The book for Econ1001 is probably going going to be Microeconomics 2nd edition, by Hubbard Garnett lewis O'Brien. I did micro last year first semester, and we were the first to use this book, so I doubt it has changed.

Just below cutoff, what to do?

Judging by recent years, the cutoffs at UNSW have been lower than USYD, so it might be an idea to put UNSW as your first preference. I was in the same position as you last year, and if you don't make it in this year, it's really easy to transfer!

    Transfering into USYD LAW

I was in the same boat as you last year! You might not even need a D average to get in, if your ATAR was that high, but nonetheless, work as hard as you can to maximise your chances of getting in!!

    Economics at Uni

I'm doing an eco degree, didn't do Eco for HSC, and I found 1st year subjects really easy. Can't say the same for 2nd year subjects though...

    2014 French Extension?

Um it didn't think it complemented continuers that much, but ultimately, you're learning to do the same things (reading, writing, speaking, listening). The fact that there is a Core text is completely different to continuers, but the other half of course is kinda similar to Continuers. Yeah, if...

    2014 French Extension?

I did Extension for my HSC last year, and I loved it! It was so different to the continuers course, and so much more of a challenge. Doing Extension helped me a lot with Continuers (to the extent that I didn't study for any of my Continuers assessments all year!). Our text was Jean de Florette...
