Hi guys/girls,

I mananged to get 99.6 ATAR but the Law courses last year were generally 99.7...is there any point in putting these courses in preferences or not? I'm not sure what to do. Is there a chance of getting in?

You can always give it a go, you never know. If you really want to do law you can check out UTS and MACQ law too.

Putting it as your first preference won't hurt unless you're running out of preferences.

Judging by recent years, the cutoffs at UNSW have been lower than USYD, so it might be an idea to put UNSW as your first preference. I was in the same position as you last year, and if you don't make it in this year, it's really easy to transfer!
