    2013 Federal election

Yeah I just googled it and there's nothing that says that. At best some people have said that they have a lifespan of 15 years but most of the literature suggests that in reality they will last significantly longer.

Because people don't equally weight issues. Some issues are make or break.

    2013 Federal election

Interesting. I recall reading that the no women and children was only until Manus was brought up to standard. And I disagree, the gaping policy hole is no leader from any side of politics willing to actually show genuine leadership on this issue but instead just play to the common denominator...

    2013 Federal election

    2013 Federal election

Lol, you can't have it both ways. If you want Australia to be able to exercise its sovereignty and what not and refuse to accept boats well then guess what? Other sovereign countries are going to exercise theirs and refuse to take them back. This is why "turning back the boats" is a stupid plan

    2013 Federal election

Ummm, no. I think you are fairly deluded if you think either side of politics has "factual" ads. The liberal party ads are just a list of 'promises' and slogans

Just saw a liberal party ad. Looks pretty much identical to the ones they ran in 2010

    2013 Federal election

I don't doubt that, but not to get too side tracked, but don't you find that interesting? In that Labor voters tend to favor a large state - until it starts snooping into their personal lives. Whereas liberals would generally favor a small state - but I get less outraged at this sort of thing.

    2013 Federal election

As much as I wish this were true, I unfourtunately think that most Australians won't give a shit (and that is a great shame)
