Ok... well what bout: English Standard General Maths Business Studies Design and Technology Senior Science Hospitality CAFS Do they scale higher? Dos scaling even matter tho? I mean if I go well enough scaling wont mean anything even tho its not smart people subjects like ecomonics...

My Subject Selection (yes another one)

No, not particularly hard. It's a fantastic subject though. It is the hardest of the commerces and scales by far the best as well.

My Subject Selection (yes another one)

    +1 I concur. (Not to be racist/stereotyping, I think it's cute rather.)

Are there English Advanced students who do not enjoy English?

Better yet, there are Extension 2 English students who hate English. Oh ya I'm one of them!

    The EE2 Stereotype

I'm thinkin' of doing 4U English. Right now I do 3eng/2math. I want to be doing 3eng/3math and am worried that 4eng/2math with corrupt my entire sense of scholastic equilibrium. I'll probably do: 4U English 2U Mathematics Economics Modern History History Extension Although what I really...

  11. P

Our subjects are kinda similar tho. Whats business and standard english like? And we both do math.
  12. P

What do u think of my subjects?

OK so I start prelim next year and I rekon these subjects look gud. Don't really care about scaling, atr my school they tell us no to look at that. Anyways, I chose: English Standard General Maths Business Studies DT Senior Science Hospitality Might wanna swap Maths for Visual Arts/...

My Subject Selection (yes another one)

You might want to consider one science so that you don't have 'all your eggs in one basket'. It's way more interesting if you choose a variety of subjects! Don't do all science or don't do all humanities. Something like: English Advanced Englsih Extension 1 Mathematics Chemistry...

Why are sciences and mathematics scaled so well?

Could you open your mind just a little? There is no use in distinguishing science and humanities, to glorify in spite of the other is quite ridiculous. Both are necessary for society to function. How can we live in a society without an effective legal and parliamentary system? You mentioned a...

Why are sciences and mathematics scaled so well?

Actually, yes it does. Economics is a fatty... good scaling. They scaled the same in 2001 and since then economics has always scaled higher! Chemistry > Economics >> Physics "In terms of scaling, HSC physics has always scaled quite decently. Traditionally and in recent years...

Why are sciences and mathematics scaled so well?

These subjects scale higher than all three sciences (ie. Physics, Chemistry, Biology): French Continuers (along with many other languages), History Extension, English Extension 1, English Extension 2, Music 2, English (Advanced). Economics scales higher than physics. Modern History and...

Why are sciences and mathematics scaled so well?

Actually Economics scales higher than physics.

    Science degree without HSC Science?

Thanks for that advice. I was only arguing with people as I found their advise very bleak, I mean "You will struggle," and "You're going to get horrible results in university," really isn't helping anyone.

    Science degree without HSC Science?

Here's a better question: What would you do?
  20. P

    Science degree without HSC Science?

Quite confident with science. Both my parents are doctors and I talk to them about chemistry a lot. Math is my favourite subject! (God knows why I didn't at least do chemistry!) But are university science courses focused very heavily on HSC Science because a USYD brochure said it is only...
