    Chanigng preference?

UAC site closes between 12 and 6 each night I believe. So you can edit your preferences for the February rounds in the morning. However yes "it's over". Why wouldn't you change your preferences well before the deadline anyway?

Did Anyone get an offer today?

http://www.anu.edu.au/news/all-news/anu-makes-1640-early-round-offers 1600 early offers. Article implies the early offer round was mainly for ACT students with 600 offers being given to locals. Being a local, most of my friends who are going to ANU and myself got our early offers. ANU is...

    No offers?

No. Only a handful of early round offers are actually offered.

    No offers?

You do realise the first January round isn't the main round, yeah?

    confusion over uni offers?

http://www.uac.edu.au/undergraduate/offers/dates.shtml Yes, 6th of Jan is early offers. Just have a look around there site. Basic Q's like this are probably covered in a FAQ or something.

    main round offers

Same thing applies. Accept the offer because there is no guarantee you'll get another. If you get what you want in a later round, then you un-enroll from what you previously enrolled in.

What is everything that one should consider when comparing universities?

Have a glance at rankings, ATAR cutoffs, reputations for particular courses at particular universities via the internet, etc. Ranks, etc are obviously not the be all and end all, however is a reason why courses at USYD, UNSW are more popular than UWS for example... Have a look on Uni websites...

what are the best humanities degrees to major in where there are job opportunities

Re: what are the best humanities degrees to major in where there are job opportunitie ANU is probably the best place for humanities. Especially political science, international relations, etc. They offer very flexible double degrees - meaning you could very easily do a Science/Humanities degree...

    university

Canberra Uni? Do you mean ANU or another university in Canberra? If you're going to ANU, don't worry majority of the undergraduate population is from interstate and in the same boat. If you're going to another uni in Canberra like the University of Canberra or the Australian Catholic...

HELP - USYD Law or Macquarie law with scholarship

Well who told you are a chance of getting the scholarship? Are they a reliable source? And by "chance" what do you mean exactly? A 0.1% chance? An unlikely chance? A 50-50 chance? A likely chance? A near certain chance?

Will i make it into the course?

It seems like a bit of stretch to get into a course cut off of 83 in 2014 with an ATAR of 74.55...even with bonus points/flexible entry. The 2015 cutoff would need to be significantly lower. But as for your preferences, you've got 9, so use them! Be ambitious with your first few, then...

Re-doing 2 HSC courses just to prove myself? (srs)

Nein. Use it as motivation at university. I'd rather ace the university equivalent of whatever Course X was at school myself personally...

    UAC application question

Did you register before December 5? If yes, you're fine. Do you need to submit any extra documents to be considered for certain courses (like portfolios for Visual Arts for example)? If no, you're sweet. If yes, do it before January 16. Forget your ATAR to an extent and just order your...

    AirAsia QZ8501 missing

Anyone know the exact relationship between the main AirAsia (Malaysia) and it's off branch company like Indonesia AirAsia? In typical Tony Fernandes fashion it's all a bit messy to understand. Obviously some form of relationship exists, but as others have said I believe Indonesia AirAsia is...

    Do i have a chance?

As long as you meet any other prerequisites the course has, you'll get in.
