Who is the best person to be PM?

Out of preference I would choose none of the above as none of them know how to lead a country. They all come from legal backgrounds and because of that they only know how to please the upper class of society, not the lower classes where the majority of the population (and the votes) lie. I...

Creative Writting - How to remember your practice essay?

I always write mine out as comic strips then try to remember each frame by drawing them out over and over. Whilst I draw them I try and think of point for each frame so that by the time I finish I would have a broad outline of my piece and would have gone over the finer points in my head.

    Creative writing

How I've always written my creative pieces (I've always got between 12-14/15 for creative writing) by combining a couple of books, movies or other content that I've gone through recently. For instance, the last creative piece I wrote was a combination of Edward Scissor hands, To kill a mocking...

    Do You Wear Glasses?

Tad long sighted, I can play sport, dirve, etc without them. I just find that I can read/work faster with them

    Illness in Exams

Here's my understanding of assessment appeals, illness, etc. IF you are unable to sit the assessment for whatever reason (by that I mean not showing up/not sitting the test) you have to re-sit the test on another date. However, if you sit the test and have a legitimate reason for being unable to...

    Modern History Historical Investigation

we were just given the notification for our historical investigation today, but I chose the Romanov Dynasties so I can't give you any arguments as I haven't done it in class either, my only advice is to check the resource page and look for any essays on the topic. Good luck with it!

    A problematic physics question

Hi guys, just had my first real physics assessment for the year (the other one was just a prac test). I think I did ok but I know I got one question horribly wrong, could someone help me out with it. Question: A fridge has an energy output of 625kWh per year and is connected to a standard...

    Age Difference

I believe that it is exponential, the older you get the larger gap is socially accepted. At 15/16 it is socially preferable to have the same age or maybe a year +/-. Whereas at the age of, lets say 30 I think that a 2/3 year gap is socially acceptable and so it goes on.

    Music making you study better?

This is the point I was trying to make. Admittedly the work that I was doing was pretty straightforward and mundane stuff. As enoilgam said, I cant listen to music with lyrics because of its distractive nature, hence I listen to EDM. However when I'm doing maths or something that requires much...

Q: How does one regain motivation for studying?

Im going through the same phase now but what I found really helped me out this weekend (first time in a while I can honestly studied for a reasonable amount of time) was to break my workload up into super short time intervals. I gave myself half an hour to achieve as much as I could on one...

    Music making you study better?

Hey guys I was just doing some light study today when I realised something: I know that there are many studies done saying that music makes you work less efficient but for me I know that I work faster/more efficient listening to some sub-genres of rock and/or EDM. You thoughts on the matter...

Year 11 2013 Chit Chat Thread

I know of guys in the year above me change as late as the end of term 2 but as smallhands said the problem is catching up with the work, if your willing to put in the extra effort to catch up then sure. I know that I made a conscious effort to choose subjects that I a) liked and would enjoy...
