Can i get band 5 with my maths results?

Yeah, it possible. I think you'll get early band 6. I'd imagine that 90% of your grade will get Band 6 in Maths.

Re: Where can I get Fitzpatrick book? Cambridge 3U is not really good.... There is nothing on t formula, auxilary method and general solutions. :( I like Coachman and Fitzpatrick. Understanding Year 11 Maths is good too. For Chemistry, get Jacaranda and Dot point. Conquering Chem is so...

    Truongs Maths Tutoring, any comments?

Re: Truong's tutoring, any comments? How much faster is Truong's teaching compared to school? Does he give tests often? I think I might go there but it's just that if he's too slow, then what's the point...

Highly recommended coaching centre for HSC Chemistry in Chatswood?

There's NorthShore in Chatswoord. I know it's alright in Maths, but I'm not sure about Chemistry. You could try to take the train elsewhere. Or try Prior.

    Tutoring Ms Diab

Yes she's good. She teaches you exam skills in class too, so that you are well prepared for tests. She may get sidetracked but some of her stories are related to the work! She just attempts to make class more interesting. If you are getting tutored by her, then you are really lucky. However, she...

anyone get UAI > 90 who did English Standard?????????????

Top UAI for Standard English in 2008 and 2007 was 99.9 and 99.95 respectively. So, yes it's doable. I'd say 90 uai+ is very achievable, but to get around 99+ in Standard English, you'd need a high band 5 or Band 6.

How does the poem "The Door"-Miroslav Holub relate to australian identity?

Just bullshit :D Australian identity: give everything a go, take a challenge, to experience stuff The poem: about stepping outside and seeing new things. A bit like the Australian identity of taking challenges and seeing new things.

T-Formulae, Auxilary Method and General Solutions

    General solutions. (where n is an integer) sinx = sin\Theta \Theta = 180.n + (-1)^n\Theta cosx = cos\Theta \Theta = 360.n \pm \Theta tanx = tan\Theta \Theta = 180.n + \Theta e.g. Find the General Solution for: sinx = 1/2 sinx = 30^{\circ} x = 180.n + (-1)^n.30 Find the related angle...

Recommended Texbooks/Study Guides for Preliminary HSC?

Re: Would you recommend these books? Don't bother with the third edition. Yes, dot point is really good. After I study from my notes, I do some work from dot point to ensure that I can apply the knowledge. I rarely check my answers when I do dot point so I don't know about accuracy of answers...

What is tan(x/2)? 4) Solve 12cosx - 5sinx + 6 = 0 5) Solve the equation: (tanx + 1)/(1- tanx) = 1 + sin2x 6) What is the domain and range for y = x+1/(x-2)(x+3)...

What selective schools should my cousin apply for?

If your school is ranked in the 500s and you want to get into a partially selective school, A's and a few B's would suffice. If you want to get into a fully selective school, you would need all A's plus probably top a few subjects.
