How does one 'Top the State'?

As long as you are first, no matter your school rank, and then you kill the externals, you can state rank. My school isn't even ranked (600+) and someone topped the state in a subject a few years back.

North Sydney Boys Mathematics 2 unit and 3 Unit Past Papers

Thanks but the 2007 Task 1 and 2008 Task have the same test paper. The 2008 file has solutions for (im guessing) the real 2008 paper, though the questions in it are exactly the same as the 2007.

School 'failed to get me into law'

"He said Ms Ashton-Weir had been placed on ''internal suspension'' a number of times while at the school. She was also poorly organised and had been absent from class many times. Ms Ashton-Weir fell ill with glandular fever in early 2009 and went to stay with her mother at the end of term two...

School 'failed to get me into law'

The parent is an idiot. So is the student. Catholic schools also have their own system I'm pretty sure (CEO).

School 'failed to get me into law'

I wasn't talking about selective schools. And yes I suppose being a Catholic School is a bit different.

School 'failed to get me into law'

No im not suggesting that. I'm suggesting that the education can almost be considered equal at both (not about talking selective) and the 'day care' is just an extra at private (usually). The reason i say the education is almost the same because teachers at private schools aren't necessarily...

School 'failed to get me into law'

I go to a pretty expensive private school though we don't even rank on the hsc rankings (600+). We learn "discipline", "explore our spirituality", partake in "social justice", "mature as men" and learn to "respect ourselves and others". The school is never to blame for bad results. If a...
