    Shift work, Uni Balance

You could probably manage 2-3 days of work around uni, especially if you get an awesome 3 day timetable like what I got this year. I worked 2-3 days a week throughout the year even during exams and am so far sitting on straight HDs, mind you, I've been used to it since I worked around 16-20...

Planning to transfer from UNSW to a Melbourne Uni.

Parking is alright at Clayton, the permit's cost a bit though, $320 a year for the normal permit. Parking Fees | Facilities & Services Division - Monash University Transfers.. well I dont know much about that so you should speak to the relevant faculty. Living in Clayton is alright, area is...

Planning to transfer from UNSW to a Melbourne Uni.

    - Living expenses would be a bit lower than Sydney depending on the area. Inner South-East/East is probably the most expensive. West + North is generally cheaper. If you live near Monash in Clayton then it'd be relatively cheap. If you live near the city and close to University of Melbourne it'd...

    commerce... AND ARTS?

I was thinking of doing Com/Arts last year before picking Arts/Law, Arts is the bludge side of my degree where I do no work and still get good marks and Law is the side where I do a lot more work and just scrape the same marks as what I get in Arts.

Doing the follow up subject to that now (INT1020) which is a lot better, doing well in it to so...

lol trust me, VCE isn't that hard, you really just have to be a smart with your how you approach your studies and you should be alright. It helps having a supportive cohort and teachers but generally speaking motivation and will power should get you through.

    Has anyone transferred to Monash

You should be ok, I have a friend who transferred to Monash Commerce from Deakin Commerce after first year with an average in the mid 70s. She had an ENTER of 81.65 and Monash Commerce needed 90.40 or thereabouts.

I want to do marketing :)

marketing is so lame, I did a marketing subject last semester, god it was boring. Practically the majority of the stuff is common sense. Guess you really have to give it a shot before you can realise if its for you.

I was just looking at some picture of UNSW at Uni the other day, and man, the campus just looks nice as, absolutely kills Monash in the looks department.
