Chemistry is probably my least enjoyable as of now but I still like it. I was thinking I'd wait until my first assessment to decide or sometime around then. Is that a good idea?

So I've noticed a trend with people recommending that those who do 4U Maths should drop to 10 units. Currently I have 12. Pros / Cons / Thoughts? None of my other subjects really stand out too much to drop really...

Not true. Plus even if it was true if you get 60 ATAR you won't cope at university anyway.

That's correct. Essentially being number 1 is awesome since if you screw up your cohort will do the work for you and you get the highest mark as you said.

None of Sydney is very bad really. It's just in comparison that Blacktown seems bad.

All of the rich north, like Manly Mosman etc. and the entire east - especially anything with Point or Bay in the name + bondi etc. - aside from the the bad bits of the cross and the small government housing estate areas. Any high-economic areas & low immigrant numbers I guess....

I believe more quality over quantity of study is important. Just because one over performs someone who is studying more does not mean due to 'talent', It means that the student who knows what he/she is doing - what to be studying - is beating the other due to superior method. I think talent...

My honest opinion would be don't repeat. Take the long long way into psychology. If you repeat the HSC you probably won't drastically improve by that much, even if you do, probably not worth while.

Are you sure they won't be counting the 500+ words you've done over then??

This is for HSC Year (In a few weeks now) not prelim year, sorry I should've specified. 10 is the minimum although many schools 'recommend / enforce' 12. Also why 13 Feynman - You're in Year 10 why choose so early haha?

I sadly can't do the 'optimal' 12 units so what do people recommend. out of 13 vs. 11 Units? What are the pros and cons? :thrust:
