    Need HELP URGENTLY!!!

On the Internet results you get in December it will state "Mathematics Extension 1 ABSENT" as a final check that you really weren't there. When you get the formal record of achievement in January then Mathematics Extension 1 will have disappeared. Having said all that, you have come this far...

    Need HELP URGENTLY!!!

That's not true. If you do not attend every part of an examination that course will be removed from your record of achievement. It will NOT be reported with a mark of zero. The only exception is a course like languages, where you receive the speaking mark even if you do not attend the written exam.

    Chocolates or gift cards

Also think outside the square. Do they like a drink ---> bottle of wine or boutique beer pack. Or a fruit basket. An impressive gift pen. A tie (for a man, if he wears them). A scarf for a female. Trust me, teachers will always be touched when a student takes the time to acknowledge their...

    HSC and ATAR results

The HSC results are released by the Board of Studies. The ATAR is released by UAC. If both results were released at the same time, students may over-concentrate on the single value ATAR, without properly considering their achievement on a course-by-course basis. The earlier release of the HSC...

    External Marks estimate??

Your school, rank, gaps and marks have absolutely no impact on your external mark. That mark is determined solely by whatever you write during the three hours that you sit and respond to those examinations.

    illness misadventure ?

B.O.S. annual reports show that around 90% of illness & misadventure appeals are approved, so your chances are pretty good.

How is the HSC timetable determined?

If a student sits an exam at a different time to everyone else, they are also required to sign a statutory declaration that they have not discussed, or will not discuss, the contents of the exam with any other person.

How is the HSC timetable determined?

Limiting clashes is important, also large exams like English and Maths take longer to mark so they are held earlier. Other considerations include making the best use of the marking centres, so later exams can be marked when earlier exams are finished marking. Extension exams are generally held...

    illness misadventure ?

The role of the presiding officer is to comment on your appearance/demeanour during the exams. For example, were you crying? Did you spend long periods staring into space? That information assists the b.o.s. to assess your appeal, particularly the extent of your grieving if you appeal over...

    illness misadventure ?

For the sickness you will need a med cert. For your grandmother's passing you will need to provide a funeral notice or death certificate. Talk to the supervisor or your teacher about an appeal form. Good luck!!!

    Urgent: Misadventure/Medical Emergency

Let's assume you were on raw 88 and the next person on raw 85. Also assume the highest exam mark for your class is 92. So by interpolation, 85 -> 92 and 100 -> 100. Where do you fit in? Your mark will be 92 + (88-85)/(100-85) x (100-92) = 93.6 ~ 94. So your moderated assessment will be 94...

Once again for those who don't seem to get it: "During reading time, you must not write, use any equipment including highlighters, or annotate your examination paper in any way." "If you do not follow these rules, or if you cheat in the examinations in any way, you may be asked to leave the...
