I detest group work, especially when the teacher puts you with THOSE types of people. Usually in that case, I try and give most of the ideas myself, and if possible, do as much of the work myself. I'd leave easy things to them that don't matter so much. We always had Modern History group work...

hahaha yeah i finish it so quickly and know the stuff already so I could do other stuff.

ah i wish..but my teacher is scary. i don't think i would be able to get away with sleeping, but my seat is the furthest away from her so i might be able to.

oh and the teacher was there trying to teach the class which side is the opposite side to theta, the adjacent side and the hypotenuse... i got very very very bored.

lol i ended up in my friends general class (she also dropped from mathematics) and shes like omg i love this its so easy. I open the textbook for the first time and go to the page the teacher told us to and nearly had a heart attack and died on the table WE ARE DOING TRIGONOMETRY AND IT'S...

Gonna try and work hard for it. Seen some of the work, seems so easy. I actually feel slightly relieved after dropping from mathematics - like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders.

Science in general at my school is dodgy. It sucks.

How early is early? I start at 8 nearly everyday I get like 2 days where I start at normal time (9am)

yep. I got like 45% in my half yearly, 37% in my open book exam and 34% in my yearly. It goes down every time. I've been contemplating this for a while, but I think I'm finally ready to just do it. I don't think getting a tutor will help me redeem myself and get me to at least 70% by the half...

Re: Year 11 2014 Chat :) That's the thing, I don't even know what I don't know anymore. I don't know if I will be able to relearn all the basics because I struggle with a lot of it.

3D doesn't sound as amazing as say, Computer Science, Medicine or Law! :o It's more creative as opposed to the other courses which require a really really smart brain and logical thinking. :') :P I was thinking of doing a double of Comp Sci and 3D, but I think it would be too overwhelming for...

wow....i must really be a failure then, cos my report had a lot of good results and I had a lot of extracurriculars but still didn't make it to any schools I applied for.

hi, I tried for Sefton last year (to get in for year 11) and they said they often don't have spots available and I didn't get in (even with a pretty decent report and tons of extra curricula's). I was going to try for Hurlstone but decided against it at the last minute so soz, but I can't help...

Me no believe the time has finally come. It's been a pretty terrible start to the year for me as well, haven't got a very good outlook on the next 12 months now...
