    Handwritten or printed-out notes?

Furthermore, keeping digital notes is far more efficient in regards to note-taking during class if your typing speed is faster than writing (which I assume would be the case for most). This will help you keep up and avoid losing track during the lesson which can really be troublesome as you...

    Handwritten or printed-out notes?

Are you talking about your original topic (as in handwritten or printed)? If it were me I would use digital notes for the majority of the term so I am able to easily keep adding new information, correcting information and basically just refining until a week or two prior to exams at which point...

    Handwritten or printed-out notes?

Ah I see what you mean. What I would do is read through the notes and actually develop a thorough understanding rather than superficially remembering wording. Once you understand you can write your own definition and memorise it. EDIT: Though I know it's sometimes hard to create a definition in...

    Handwritten or printed-out notes?

Well that's even better, isn't it? You're practically transferring the teacher's knowledge to your own notes and most likely the teacher is presenting correct information (hopefully). How would you be able to get the information wrong?

    Handwritten or printed-out notes?

I don't really see how you could have the wrong information if you listen properly in class and know what you're doing :P Nonetheless though, to ensure accuracy it's always beneficial to compare notes with classmates and other sources.

    Handwritten or printed-out notes?

For my official copy of notes (that I refer to often) I would usually print them out. Digital notes are also very flexible and 'liquid text', meaning you can edit them as you like without making them messy as you might do on written notes :P you can also highlight words/phrases as desired. If I...

How to find 'Techniques' within a novel?

Sit and think about a few of the major events/themes in the novel for a minute and see if you can come up with related techniques. It may be worthwhile to go back and reread those sections of the book. If you feel more is needed, give the whole book another read, noting down the techniques you...

URGENT!! How do you make a personal connection to the text?

Absolutely, was addressing this Also as long as your argument actually originates from the text, isn't nonsense, is expressed clearly and succinctly and can be sufficiently validated, then you're good to go. Aka if the argument is presented with the appropriate coherence, sophistication, proof...

URGENT!! How do you make a personal connection to the text?

You're not going to be marked down for an idea/ideas being 'wrong' as long as you provide enough evidence to back your claims. As for the personal connections if you really have to write the essay in third person, you can still always make 'personal connections' with the typical person who does...

    UNSW Info day!

Is this not why people attend open days/info days before year 12? To push in last minute uni persuasion is probably not the main point of Info Day. I'd think they assume you already have some knowledge about what you want to do but are seeking more information. I suppose the last info day is...

    UNSW Info day!

Actually a number of universities also hold Info Days on the same day (USyd, UTS & MQ). I suppose they're hoping to make a final good impression? I've never understood why Info Days for different unis are held on the same day though, maybe it's because they all aim to have the last say in...

    UNSW Info day!

If you're talking about Info Day it's essentially a watered down version of Open Day aimed more specifically at 2014ers and you can view events on the unsw site.

    UTS 2015 Info Day?

Woahh bro LOL Food plz don't run out ehehe I don't think such a bribe method would really attract more applicants since people are more focussed on the important prospects of uni Although there are always the people who aren't sure which uni to go to for info day of whom UTS is planning to...
