No idea, although as the marks are all entered into a computer software package of some kind I imagine the software package will automatically fail you if you recieved < 40 in either module or an overal mark < 50.

is it just me or is phys1121...

Yes, it is still hard although also interesting. I find the textbook is a lot better to learn from than the lecture notes/examples.

    ITT: FML I hate uni.

I'd disagree there, Rudd is a well tuned foreign diplomat having served overseas at Australian embassies, while also being foreign minister in the opposition Labor government. Plus, there is no higher position of foreign policy in Australia than the presiding prime minister.

    Travelten bus pass

Screw that. You don't show them id, nor do you give them your real name or address. They won't physically be able to restrain/hold you either (breach of civil liberties) so you are free to get of at the next stop if you want etc.

    Travelten bus pass

Probably a stupid question, but how does a ticket inspector fine you exactly? I.e. how do they even know who you are. They are not police and you do not have to identify yourself to them as far as I am aware (hence how can they fine you if they do not know your details). All they can really do...

    Sleepover at UNSW

Would probably be hard to do without getting busted. UNSW Village common room building you probably could (goon is allowed there and there's 3 decent tv's, foxtel, wii, xbox, couches etc). Swipe card access is needed although if you just knock on the door someone will let you (they won't know...

My family is so goddamn poor that they can not support me :((

So you can afford 26K a year for USyd, but not 28K a year for UNSW? Right...

    general UNSW chit-chat

How big is Elec 224, is it just a classroom, so not a lot of room for many people? Itsn't that for people who've failed the course before, so they would probably go slower/more basic stuff I would think. Not a bad idea though.

Who lives out of home for uni?

For $350 a week you should easily be able to live out of home.

I think i cocked up my subjects

Well, if it is 'recommended' as you say, then it is just that, a recommendation. It will vary depending on the university. Even if you don't have it and it is required, you could always do a bridging course offered by the uni for it etc.

    general UNSW chit-chat

Yeah. I went down the street (cops at one end didn't seem to care), then a cop at the other end wasn't very happy lol. There's 5 ambulances (and a whole lot more police) there and they seemed to be treating people on the ground near the entrance to the building.

    general UNSW chit-chat

Yeah, those big exhaust things from where they are baking... Anyone know what the hazard at Lowy building is? Some were saying biological, others chemical. They have 3 normal fire engines, 1 special fire engine, 3 police rescue trucks (including one with a bomb disposal trailer), 4 police cars...

Answers to Accommodation/Colleges questions at UNSW

It wouldn't surprise me if that was true. Both the Chancellor and Vice Chancellor are attending the new Village official opening this week...

Need Room mate. 10 min walk from UNSW $130 pw

How are you going to fit two desks in there as well? It already looks small with a single bed and 1 desk.

130 a week + bills for a bunk bed you share with someone else? Lol, you can get a single room (no sleeping with you) for cheaper in the same area. I notice you didn't put up a photo of the bunk beds/room.
