Why do the students who go to the best schools get the best marks?

I think it's more selective schools that rank higher, than private schools or Catholic schools. I mean, I for one go to an Independent Catholic girls' school, yet we do so shit in the HSC. I mean, the school was so happy that ten students (out of 70) received an ATAR above 85 or something. :/...

Type or write notes for the HSC

Class notes (except for English) are written in pen, then usually re-typed on a Word document or other apps on my Mac (such as MindNode; really good for mind-maps!) ... I still haven't found a good way for me to study, so I just kind of throw in everything, because no study method apparently...

    Relationships & HSC

Eurgh because I didn't want it to get too serious, because if it did, and then if he broke up with me, I wouldn't be able to pull myself together. I just. I was falling for him, and I knew that if we continued dating, I would be the one who'd end up hurt. Cheers. :)

Which School do you go to??

Oh, me too. But next year I'll be transferring to Pigfarts. :) /awkward moment when no one's watched AVPM and has no idea what I'm crapping on about.

how many hours do you study a day?

Now that it's the holidays, I planned for eight, but I tend to procrastinate and do more exciting things in my life, so I'd say about four to six hours a day. With Trials coming up, I'm slowly increasing the amount of hours, but for me, it's quality not quantity. If I can study efficiently in a...

Why do girls dump nice guys and go for the jerks?

Nice boys *are* attractive. Or so I find. :) But I also don't mind the occasional badassery/Draco Malfoy-type of guy, either. It really depends on the situation, and what the girl's looking for. But for the record, the nice ones are always going to be the ones who have the solid, happy, cute...

    Relationships & HSC

Well I recently broke up with my boyfriend of two months (so I could get out before I got hurt/it got too serious) but now I regret it, because I still have feelings for him and he's apparently moved on completely. I'd be happy if we could be FWB, but he's not making much of an attempt to see...

    What are you currently Reading?

School related: Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen (but I also read this outside of school), Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen, and Letters to Alice on First Reading Jane Austen by Fay Weldon. Non-school related: Just finished Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K.R. for the billionth...

    HELP ME in English please!?!

Well seeing as you're going relatively well in your other subjects, I say, for now, just focus on working on English, because I'm sure you have the capability to do well. :) Practice papers; just continually practice under timed conditions, but before that, study your texts so you know them...

    procrastination

I tend to clean frantically or else make study timetables for everybody else. Yeah. I'm not quite sure what's wrong with me.
