    General Thoughts: Physics

A- 80% efficiency B- 98.4% C - 99.7% efficiency it asked for calculations not theory, so I think price might be irrelevant. iono urgh if it was from the electrons frame of reference, then there would be no change since the laws of physics hold true in an inertial frame of reference...

    lol.

    Section I - Multiple Choice

Its a trick question, very common in past papers. ask ur teacher.
  4. C

    Section I - Multiple Choice

zzz. the wire is completely immersed in a magnetic field so its 90.
  5. C

Raw marks estimate and b5/b6 cut-off.

    chillax. 75-80 it is
  6. C

    Section I - Multiple Choice

    no. the angle was 90
  7. C

Raw marks estimate and b5/b6 cut-off.

honestly, there were no hard calc questions, everything was mostly theory. A lot of the mc questions were very similar to past papers (such as change in flux graph)

    Section I - Multiple Choice

radial magnetic field ensures a direct relationship. If it wast radial, then torque would keep changing as it turns.
  9. C

Raw marks estimate and b5/b6 cut-off.

the exam was easier than previous band 6 should be 80 at least

    Scaling of Subjects

chillax bro. as long as u get 80-90 for standard, 90 atar isnt a problem, since ur legal studies mark is equivalent of a 94-95 atar 2u maths --> 93 atar biology --> 92 (if u get mid/high 80s) all up to english now
  11. C

    Need HELP URGENTLY!!!

just do the exam anyways geez. study 3hrs tonight and youll be fine. If u dont go, you're gonna drag down the marks for everybody else. And even if u screw up, if u have 12+ units it doesnt matter.
  12. C

    Scaling of Subjects

85-90 2u maths should scale ok. Biology is the worst scaler out of all 3 sciences but 80-90 will get you above 90 atar. English standard scales much worse than advanced (only 5% get band 5) so its gonna drag you down a lot if u didnt do well. (if u got 70-80 in standard, it will be very hard...

    Scaling of Subjects

I did: English adv, Physics, Chem, eco, maths adv, and maths 3U, (only choose high scalers if you want high ATAR) slightly more complicated. What are your subjects? Anways, if you do really well in them then you should be fine. However, if you get below 90, then its gonna start scaling down...

    Scaling of Subjects

one of the best scaling subjects ever. simply an 80 in chem is worth a 90 in religion studies dw i completely failed prelim chem. then hsc the syllabus is much simpler and easier to understand. obv a 90 in one subject cannot compare to a 90 in another. Ancient history is one of the poorer...

    Scaling of Subjects

dood, you shouldnt have dropped chem. Those year 11 marks dont count to hsc. If u started studying this term it would be ok. still wk 2 so u should transfer. Its worth it.
  16. C

What HSC marks are you aiming for?

    overall English advanced : 90 Maths 2U : 95 Maths 3U : 46 Physics : 93 Chem : 92 Eco : 90

    Is This Year's HSC Easy?

haha i revise my statement then
  18. C

    Is This Year's HSC Easy?

chill ppls, 0.5 - 1% (500-1000ppl) of the state browse this site, and most who do actually care about their ATARs so they actually study, So though the exams seem easy, to the average student they may perceive it as slightly more difficult.
  19. C

    Does band 6 always = 90 hsc mark, band 5= 80-90 etc....

everythings subjective. If I got 89 I would cry. :)
