Likelihood of poems being specified in Mod C?

Needless to say, the majority of people will be fucked if the BOS specifies a specific poem that has to be discussed. That said, how likely is it that they will specify one or more Ted Hughes poems that we have to talk about?

Anyone Finding They Studied Better Pre-Trials?

You sir, are a terminator. 9 hours is crazy! Good for you if you can keep it up, I guess. If it were me I'd burn out after a few days, but each to his own.

Anyone Finding They Studied Better Pre-Trials?

Lately I've found it a lot more difficult to study effectively in contrast to when I was studying for the trial exams. I'm putting it down to a lack of pre-exam adrenaline at the moment, but I'm not entirely sure. Is anybody else experiencing this? :blink2:

Lost In Translation - Literally. HELP!

It's been a long time since I've studied Coppola's 'Lost In Translation' and I can only really remember the basics. It's probably a good thing that I've started studying for the E1 HSC now rather than later on, or I'd really be in a pickle! Anyway, I'm wondering if any of you guys would be able...

has anyone started preparing for the HSC?!

Ehh, we're not even done with our trial exams..I'm pretty sure we haven't finished our English course yet, either. How can you study for something that far away? If it were me, I'd have forgotten it all by the time the HSC rolled around. I start studying a week prior to exams.

    Part Time Job Post-HSC

Thus far, I haven't bothered looking into getting a part-time job. With the end of the HSC drawing near, however, I think it might be prudent to start looking. With my lack of experience, I can assume it's pretty hard to start out doing work that isn't food related..But what are some...

    Recommended to drop to standard

Interesting that you say that. At my school, they basically forced people who fell below a certain mark to drop to standard..That said, I think if you can present a good enough argument as to why you should stay in Advanced, they'll generally let you. ..If worst comes to worst, contact the...

Think my friend's tutor may have written part of her assessment?!

Dude, if she's your "friend" why would you want to dob her in? Seriously, it's only year 11. Stop being so cut-throat.

    What's Studying HRM like?

    It's Over!

I just finished my monologue/GP today. Really happy with how I went..Everything went perfectly to plan. How did everyone else go? Post your thoughts below. ;)

UWS B.comm (adv leadership)/B. laws vs UNSW B.economics

Hmm..If you're going for HRM (me too!) then advanced business leadership couldn't hurt as an undergrad course..Have you considered just following it up with a masters at a more "prestigious" uni after you finish your undergrad course?

    Australian Politics

I'll hold you to that. Fingers crossed, eh?

Is Society and Culture any good?

Depends on your personality, political views and interests. If you're interested in foreign countries and culture, then it may be of interest to you. How interesting it is as a subject is based around how interesting the teacher makes it, really. That said, some of the segments included in the...

    Urgent help for Extension 2!

To my understanding, you don't need to provide a bibliography. Instead, the most significant of your sources are discussed in your Reflection statement, and the rest are referenced in your logbook. That said, all you need to provide the BOS with is your major work, your logbook and your...

What do you think of Jehovah's Witnesses?

Umm..They're like any other human being? I mean, overall they're pretty peaceful people from what I've seen. Their doorknocking gets kinda annoying, though..

What area of sydney do you live in?

"All I want is a slushy and one of your friends." Hahahahah, ah the shire..If you can get past the lads and all that though, it's actually a pretty legit place.

Your Ideal age to get married?

Mhmm, you got me. I don't really plan for it. The way I see it, if it happens it happens. If not..Meh.

    Do You Wear Glasses?

Apparently without glasses I have the vision of a 70 year old man. Scary shit. BUT I tend to prefer contact lenses because they give you better peripheral vision. ..And I look like way less of a dork with them on.

    Tans: Yes or no?

A little bit of natural tan is kind of hot, but too much is ewy.

    teeth and whitening

If you're brushing your teeth like a boss all the time and your teeth aren't really getting white, you don't really need to pay heaps of cash to get them professionally whitened at a dentist. Just buy one of those whitening wands or whatever you call them from Woolworths or Coles. Takes longer...
