Pop is complete trash to me and makes my ears bleed. Jazz, Rock, Punk, all that is shit imo. Classical and techno (for dancing at nightclubs) are the only things I like apart from metal. To each his own.

Also some awesome melodic death metal bands are Children of Bodom, Norther and Wintersun, but they've probably already been mentioned

I didn't write a story

Why did about 99% of people do a story? I basically just wrote an essay. I'm curious as to why it seems to be an accepted norm to do a story here, when the question does not contain the words 'story' or 'narrative' anywhere.
