Disadvantage on Einstein's work on quantum theory.

Dude, the dot point doesn't ask for disadvantages so don't worry.

Is Meissner effect same as Lenz's law principle ??

Jamesfirst - im sure it says that the Meissner effect proved that eddy currents didn't occur within superconductivity. Therefore both Lenz's law and the Meissner cannot be the same in this case.

    Should I have done Physics?

You'll be fine mate, those "basics of Physics" are all what prilim Physics is about. The HSC course is just an extension upon what you have learnt in the previous year (yr 11). They can only cover what's in the book and syllabus, so providing you work and learn from these, past years knowledge...

    Holiday study/revision methods?

Mate, i highly doubt you are going to complete all that, especially maths. Tbh i wouldn't comtemplate doing past papers expect for english and ancient (for the practise essay content). It wastes time when you could actually be learning the content. But good luck mate.

    Please determine my ATAR

I predict with those ranks; an ATAR of approximately 71.95. On a serious note, with your half-yearly report (you may have recieved) it should state ranks per class. That's what iRuler is trying to ask you, as it will allow for a more precise estimate.

how many hours do you study a day?

2-5 hrs for me, saying that sometimes i stay to about midnight studying. I break it up of course. Weekends like now, probably 3-9. Still not enough i feel to cover each subject comprehensively, especially when you have the added burden of assignments during your bloody week before trials. Not...

Can a conclusion be less than 100 words?

yes, because quality is better than quantity, and in reality if your thesis if less than 100 words, then your conclusion should be round abouts.

ok cheers mate. Yeah, i've looked at a lot of questions, and have seen that a lot of them ask about humanity. I've prepared the ideas, talking about context, relation to audiences, techniques etc, and will just use my understanding through reading/ or should i say watching the texts to shape it...

Can I get a band 6 in English?????

When your marks are submitted to whoever they send it too, they don't care about your actual mark; but in fact only your ranks. Therefore do not worry about what your current mark is, because it practically gets scraped. Also from what i have heard you don't necessarily need 90% plus for a...

    Cheating in exams?

I wouldn't recommend directly dishing out names to your teacher because there is a possibility it could back fire, however i would advise having a word with your teacher asking them to keep a closer eye on things. Anyway, I thought you weren't allowed to bring phones, or any gadgets into the...

    Biology trial papers

Type or write notes for the HSC

Writing takes ages in comparison to typing. I initially began writing my notes, but found it ineffective as it was both time consuming and somehow harder to process the information when reading over. But generally i would recommend typing, as it is faster and more editable.

Just a quick question, for an exam how many ideas (playing god, etc) would you select and prepare for? So far i have three currently prepared, just wondering if that would be sufficent, to suit all types of questions. - Playing god and consequences -Humanity and its meaning -Nature...

    Motivation --- [merged]

Re: motivation, anyone? Look dude, i believe that 99% of people here would rather go out, do there own thing. However you have to look at it, as a way of making sure you have a good life when you become older. Personally for me, i have many university courses that i would love to do and i...

Why is classical physics = ultraviolet catastrophe

Isn't it as the heat increases, the frequency changes due to induction of different electromagnetic radiations?..but anyway to answer question, the principle of conservation of energy is violated because energy cannot be created nor destroyed, and in this case energy increases and increases...

    Study time required for atars

Most people that tend to get the 99+ atars are accelerated in that they do some subjects beforehand. Therefore because of this, they might not need to study as much.
  18. S

What are you doing in order to get a 90+ ATAR?

Make syllabus study notes for each topic (make sure you include detail, treat each question as a 10 marker if possible) With your study notes, highlight key information and revise your study notes closer to the exams, do past papers, and topic questions (helps to work on exam time...
