    I wanna tone up - advice?

    dude, it was an analogy, "Consider protein as a fuel (like in a car)"... I'm not saying Only burn protein, because your body only uses protein for daily function if you are starving to death or other such emergencies

    I wanna tone up - advice?

    Definitely agree, people who think that it just naturally makes you increase or sustain muscle mass are dumb as fuck. Protein should be considered as a fuel, if not burnt then it will only add weight to the body, if used, it repairs damaged muscle fibres etc and eventually builds muscle mass...

    Sequence and SEries Help

    Ahh lol!!! i didn't read that previously. That might explain the answer. Interest=Total-Amount input So i'm guessing that since she put it $600 every year, it would be (-600 times the amount of times she put $600 in) So it would be -12(600) since she wouldn't put more in in 2008 So i still...

    Sequence and SEries Help

    hmm so a=600(1.06)^0, so must be 12... i swear in that instance 13 makes sense though

    Elite universities... :s

    LOL i was thinking the same but then thought surely 100 would be inclusive also (or 99.95 now)

    Sequence and SEries Help

    Well obviously interest isn't calculated if you put it in the day off So 96,97,98,99,00,01,02,03,04,05,06,07,08 It does say "total investment be worth by december 2008" so 08 would be included Like if you let my "A_1 be 2008" then count backwards "A_2 be 2007" then you get "A_13=1996"...

    Sequence and SEries Help

    n=13, i=0.06 P=$600 A_1=600(1.06)^13 {So the first amount is in there for 13 years} A_2=600(1.06)^12 A_3=600(1.06)^11 ... A_13=600(1.06) .'. A_n=600(1.06)+600(1.06)^2+600(1.06)^3+..+600(1.06)^13 Geometric: a=600(1.06), r=1.06 Sn=600(1.06)[(0.06)^13-1]/0.06 See what i...

    What Excercise Did You Do Today?

    I know the one, it's like a calf raising/squat machine... i stopped using that one. Do you find that it causes red lines all over your shoulders because of your shirt (the parts that are overlapped) pushing against the pad? Legs day for me today: (3x6 in all) -3x6 leg press (200kg) -Calf...

    [First Lesson Free] 2/3/4U Mathematics, Physics. [Hills Area]

    Highly recommended, seems like an awesome person and who can argue with such amazing ranks in such a highly ranked school. Obviously this person knows the content and dedication required to achieve great success in the HSC.

    escape velocity

    So the quoted is saying: * Bit of an error, GPE=-GMm/r (haven't looked at it in ages, might be wrong but i'm pretty sure GPE tapers linearly w.r.t r) When 1/2(mv^2)-GMm/r=0 GMm/r=1/2(mv^2) 2GMm/r=mv^2 2GM/r=v^2 therefore v=rt(2GM/r) --- Equation to calculate escape velocity...
