Every one will say economics or econometrics. You have to do certain business law subjects for CA/CPA - LEGT1711, 2721, 2741 and 2751. CPA also requires INFS1001 (I think that's the course code - I'm not going for CPA). There's about 10000 topics on this so do a search mane :spzz:

If you're doing ACTL/FINANCE for Commerce, I think your first sem should be: ACCT 1A Microeconomics Math 1A (the math for actuarial studies) FINS1612 As to the stats v eco part, I don't know

From what I've read on the net, a business/commerce degree coupled with law/maths/com sci will give you a great chance of getting into IB. And a 75+ WAM

I've e-mailed both UAC and UNSW. Assuming I actually do get a response due to it being the holiday season , I can imagine the above scenario coming about, or 'privacy' issues or some such being raised. Yes I know what ever I get here will be anecdotal, but it's better than nothing. Impossible...

Acturial studies is a lot harder than just 'integrate by parts'. You have to work very hard from the beginning (for most people). To that Danyan kid - become a male prostitute, they make a lot of money quickly. Also, I'm pretty sure options/derivs TRADERS still make plenty of bank >_>
