I just had my English Advanced half yearly this morning haha :( English is pretty much all I study, just look at my units. It helps me in all my other subjects because they're humanities. I'm relieved, though, we didn't have a half yearly for Extension 1. An easy assessment instead!

You need as much support as possible during the time of exams. I couldn't do it without my boyfriend :( When I have my breaks, I talk to him or see him. It takes my mind off things for a little while which helps me to concentrate next time I go to study; I'm relaxed and happy.

The Advanced version of Top Notes is much much better. I came across it in my local library, and I was surprised by how good it was. But yes, only use it as a basic study guide because it can be extremely vague when discussing techniques.

Honestly, just ask your teacher. I read Alistair MacLeod's No Great Mischief for my assessment on Navigating the Global. Whale Rider is another good book for the topic. Best of all it's not overly long haha, so if you're desperate I recommend that one.

We got ours last week. My principal didn't allow a lot of the nicknames the girls had put down. Pretty ridiculous. First they said I couldn't have Moe, then they said I could. I received my jersey on Wednesday and it came back as Monique. I don't see what's so bad about Moe? :S

Thank you :) I'm actually really happy with the way it's going, and I've come across excellent case studies. If anyone needs help with research, I'll be more than glad to help. All I seem to be doing is researching for this thing lately.

Jesus Christ. :lol: Sorry for having an opposing opinion! And I'm also sorry if my school has informed us incorrectly of how things go in the scaling system. I'll find out in December just how much it's dragged me down.
