Yeah, basically. In the Refunds report, the Operator ID comes up as the SCO POS ID (e.g. 801), rather than the SCO attendant's POS ID Refunds were always one of the functions under the supervisor menu that weren't supposed to be used on SCO.

Subcontracted On another note, I'm glad that the refund option is being removed from the supervisor menu on SCOs. I was getting quite sick of telling staff not to do refunds through SCO :-)

Interesting that they've chosen to not use Ingenico PINPads anymore...

I think the computer that receives the satellite radio caches content, so if there is an issue with signal, cabling or the satellite dish, then the cached content will be played

Sure is... but that's only if they choose to stick to the EBA 100%. If the store manager/CSTM felt that it was beneficial to keep paying you the in-charge rate, they could.

Not sure how the EBA fits in over east, but in this situation in WA the 2IC would get paid their usual amount (either salary, or Grade 3 EBA wage with in-charge allowance if the CSTM wasn't there) and the other supervisor would get paid the same as a checkout operator (Grade 2 EBA with no...

Aveling aren't bad, but I would go for AHA (http://www.ahawa.asn.au). They are the most authoritative source for liquor licensing stuff in WA outside of DRGL. The other choice IMO would be Clubs WA. I did my liquor training through AHA (both RSA and Approved Manager course) and found them to...

I'm pretty sure this scenario gives a different message. Something like "USER ID NOT ALLOWED". As I said previously, I think "INVALID C BANK" is caused by the checkout not being linked to a valid checkout bank within StoreLine. Having said that, I just saw that powlmao works in Big W, so there...

Unlikely, but possible :-) Regardless, an item that doesn't scan should be escalated to the CSTM/Supervisor In-Charge to follow up with the department manager/duty manager and SSO/SSA

This will appear on reports that are run as part of the SSO/SSA routine. Items that don't scan should be escalated to the CSTM/Supervisor In-Charge who will action appropriately (i.e. follow up with the department manager) and get SSO/SSA to action if necessary. Process is there for a reason...

Sounds like the register isn't associated with the right checkout bank in StoreLine (e.g. Liquor, Self Serve, Standard Checkout, Express Checkout etc.) This can be changed from the Manager menu in Office, or by raising a call with the Service Desk.

SVR MENU > DISC DUMP > GROCERIES > $30 > ENTER > CASH > $30 Receipt prints with fuel voucher SVR MENU > REFUNDS > RETURN SALE > SVR MENU > DISC DUMP > GROCERIES > $30 > ENTER > CASH > KEY AMOUNT Register is balanced, and you have a fuel voucher. But check with your CSTM before doing...

A few recent changes: Steve Greentree is Chief Operating Officer - Supermarkets and Petrol (was previously GM Liquor) Ziggy is GM Fresh New Business (was previously GM Store Operations, a position which no longer exists) Steve Murphy is National Operations Manager (was previously...

Output of customer focus groups. Apparently "the manager" isn't easily identifiable by customers. A good change I think. I wonder how long it will be until the CSM wears business attire also... Regional/Area teams who previously wore uniform have also changed to business attire.

No matter which way you do it, this has the potential to end badly. Scenario 1: you go into the BWS store with you mate, and present your discount card. They ask you for ID because you (presumably) look under 25 (ID 25 policy). You can't present ID, service refused. Scenario 2: your mate...
