ive heard in tuition is pretty good, i have a family friend who went there and got a uai in the high 90s, now doing a combined advanced science/law degree at syd uni. He also tutors there.. the only bad thing is that you have to do 4 hours for every subject every week, which is quite a bit...

yeah i wish i was going overseas as well... oh well :( i'll probably sit around watching the cricket (yeah and the tennis) i wanted to get a casual job but no interviews, no nothing, looks like its not going to happen, maybe i will just do some volunteer work, that is a good idea...

i remember reading a thread somewhere, i think it was one by lyounamu, it said every unit required 60 hours of study i'll see if i can find it :P

Re: Help with textbook for preliminary? I bought the Cambridge 3u textbook, its our school textbook and apparently covers the 2u syllabus as well it seems to be pretty good, but i could be wrong, havent done a lot of exercises out of it :P I hear the Fitzpatrick textbook is an exceptionally...

yeah i know but we have heaps of work and it is quite common for everyone to share work or just copy and paste something off the internet, i guess thats why theres so much fuss

yeah we did it online as well but then we have a one-on-one interview w like the deputy principal ensuring we understood the online test and then another in class written test fun.
