If you use dialoge as a way to actually add depth to the characters or explore the theme you're trying to, then dialogue becomes useful.

You'd have to at least narrow down your age group. One thing I've heard is avoid targetting children - you can't do as complex work doing that.

The animals did die a lot :( I clearly remember one scene in particular, where one of the snakes is half torn to shreds or something and kills a blue fox. And that's just one of many.

I found it interesting that episode where Helga was creating a statue of Arnold from chewing gum and had it hidden in her wardrobe xD

This is what I can remember - X-Men, Spider-Man, Angry Beavers, Rocko's Modern Life, the Wild Thornberries, Rugrats, Aaaah Real Monsters, Hey Arnold, CatDog, Doug, Aladdin, Hercules, Pepper Ann... I think that's about it.

It's almost like all the creative people left or started doing live-action stuff :( Which is a real pity - our generation is the only one that really experienced a good era of cartoons. 60's had Hannah Barbera and stuff, but we had Nickelodeon, some of the Disney stuff... it was like a Golden...

Wild Thornberries and Rugrats - really good way back when. The stuff kids have to watch now... *sighs*

So many good shows from the day :D I remember an episode of Catdog where they dreamed they were two different people and ended up being friends by the end anyway xD

Yeah, short story. Novella's are about 40, 000. 6000-8000 is about 20ish pages typed. A bit more I think, but that's a rough estimate.
