What department? I do inductions for my department (deli), but I figure it'd be different for each one. I just work out what sort of person they are and play to that. Some people like sarcastic humour, others are uptight. Some look nervous and others confident.

Definitely not in fresh food departments, I know that much. Without looking at the terms of employment I couldn't be sure, but I doubt that it would be allowed.
