    Actuarial Studies in uni?

accounting is not really maths nor economics. actuarial studies or economics may be more for you. the reason why unsw and usyd dont have a uai for acturial studies is because there is no seperate degree for it. for unsw you can major in actuarial studies if you are doing a commerce degree and...

    60 uai ? diffifcult

nah its not that hard to get a UAI of 60 if you try your very best imo. but in saying that approx 50% of people doing the HSC will get a UAI of less than 65 so i guess you never really know. it differs from person to person depending on their abilities.

    Screw HSC markers

BOS tries their best to make it as fair as possible. they have clerical checks for a certain amount of money if you think that you where treated unfairly. the thing is cost vs. benefit. marking it multiple times and having the paper distributed to all HSC students has more negative effects...

    school and UAI??

not a direct relationship obviously (which i have mentioned in my post, if you read it all) but it may help when predicting someones uai on this site as it may be an indicator of how moderation may affect there uai. i would say it may make the prediction slightly more accurate when school...

family members telling you different things for hsc

actually tafe units do count toward your hsc but may not be included in your uai. it really depends if you want to go to uni or not. if not i'd say drop a subject, you'd still be eligable for the hsc. good luck with that. :)

English Advanced ----> Standard?? Any advice?

op: you are doing pretty alright in english. i'd me more worried about your other subjects though. but yes it is possible to get a uai of 90 in standard but it really depends on the individual.

    school and UAI??

school rankings dont directly effect your uai. you can definitly achieve a uai of 95+ in any school. however school ranking is an indication of how moderation may effect your uai when asking for people to predict your uai.

    HSC at tafe

    1. yes it is possible for you to get a uai over 75 at tafe. 2. tafe isn't "easier". they follow the same curriculum as any other school would.
