    Main Round and Second Round

Hi guys, seeing that there has been a lot of helpful comments posted in this thread, I thought I might just ask a similar question. However, instead of accepting the offer, if I enrol for a course at another university than the one I desire to go to, will I not be eligible for second round...

    Main Round and Second Round

No, you are still eligible for offers in the second round, as long as the course you are attempting to get into is first or second on your preferences list, assuming that the course you may have gotten into was 3rd on your list. So, just make sure that the uni you want is above the uni that you...

    Regarding offers

Huh? No, dude, accept your offer. Just make sure it's not your first preference. You run the risk of not receiving any offers from any of the preferences you made at all, since there may be no vacancies in the later round.

    Regarding offers

Yeah you can. I called UAC on this a while back. They said that if you accepted your main round offer, and you received another offer then you'd be able to withdrawl from your current offer and accept the new one. However, you will only get an offer in the later round, IF, the offer made in the...

Does the other degree in the double degree component matter?

As most of you know, the preferences close on the 6th of January. However, I'm in a bit of dilemma over which degree I should combine law with. I have heard varying responses, with some saying that the other degree is almost decisive on the legal career that you will embark upon after...

    "study smart. not hard"

Yes you are in fact right with the definitions. But if you are going to be smart about how you study you would certainly study hard so as to ensure that you do get the marks and ranks you want. You can't actually quantitatively find out how many hours you need to study in order to get those...

    Is there commerce at UTS?

Yes it is a noob question, however, I have been stressed out lately because I haven't been able to decide which other degree I want to combine law with... I came to the decision that I would want to combine it with commerce, however, looking through the UTS course handbook and the UAC guide...
