Exactly right. there are points throughout the book that refer to the global financial crisis, which definately helps in the long run.

Yeah I would just focus on the 4 P's. If that's all there is stated in the syllabus, then that's all you need to worry about. I don't think I'd be in too good of a position if there were 8 P's. :S

I don't study Business Services, but it should be in the textbook somewhere if it's an assessment as they would have to cover what's in the syllabus, in the textbook.
