CD = 12 BC = 10 right? here is my working out AB : AC = 1 : 3 so 5 : 15 so minus AB from AC and we get 10. as AB : AC = 1 : 3...we can say that BE : BC = 1: 3..so on iunno if iam right.

Thats wrong mate..u were suppose to -7 not +7. 4y + 7 = -4 4y = -4-7 4y = -11 y = -11/4 y = -2.75
