Triple physics?! Gosh! My day was OK. Got our diaries and had a study skills seminar and a motivational speaker. Not bad when you compare it to the other seminars.

No, definitely go for the basics. I'm 99% sure you will need to know them in order to further advance your learning in the area. It's silly to go onto the harder stuff without first learning the basics, imo.
