Re: What is the most important subject? Actually, I hate English so much, I can't wait to leave the classroom. It's so crap, I hated sciences, but I think I would prefer to do all 3 sciences rather than enter an English classroom again.:(

I do believe English is important, but I don't believe journeys/belongings should be the whole course. Kids at my school can't even spell, and they're expected to tackle journeys.:( I know I would not choose English if it wasn't mandatory. Btw, I don't think it's compulsory in WA. Anyone verify...

Re: What is the most important subject? Maths and sciences. Histories are kind of useless these days, of course if they're your interest, you would choose them for the best uai chances. Social sciences are kind of useless too, you can get into courses related to them without doing them in yr 11...

It's okay for me, I just got to start the effort otherwise I'm going to fail everything.:D I only have two assignments so far, and they're pretty easy.

SGP SUCKS! It's pretty broad. There seems to be a lot of variation between my classes ideas. Mine is about fuel efficieny/carbon emmisions.

Foram, lol. I do business and legal as well, and I would have chose eco over geo if my school wasn't so crap grr.

I heard it's pretty unpopular in senior years. I guess people want to get rid of it. Anyway I do it and I find it pretty decent. Anyone else think it's a lot better than year 7-10?

I don't know where you all got the idea that engineering studies scales down. And, Foram, 2 unit maths scaling down from 96 to 93 -- where did you get this information. Also, I'm pretty sure a 99 in gen. maths is 99, not 92. Scaling isn't effective when you do well in a course, LET ALONE ABOVE 90.

The physics teacher at my school is bad too. My friend said he makes up his own formulas (instead of using the textbook) and ends up getting the wrong answer. Essentially, he's failing yr 11 physics.
