    Work Experience

If you want work experience in a law firm google the ones in the location that suits and contact them. I doubt big firms will be able to accomodate you (but there is no harm in trying) but you would most likely to be able to find smaller local firms that may be able to help. You may have to...

    Enquiry: B Law

doing a search will help but in a nut shell: *location *demand/prestige *teaching style In the end all law courses must teach pretty much the same content as they are accredited degrees.

Is "too young" ever a good reason to reject a girl?

Of course it can be for: * legal reasons * being uncomfortable with the age difference * If maturity/place in life will be an issue, if you can see that you're at totally difference places in life (i.e. wanting to settle down have kids vs. still studying etc)

    can u cook?

I can cook most things, I love making desserts and as parents have own business and always work late I am used to cooking dinner. I just watch my mum or use a recipe... I am a bit apprehensive with complicated recipies

Extra studying apart from Uni commitments

I wouldn't start anything other than satisfying general curiosity until the first semester has ended. While 15hrs per week sounds easy wait to see what the work load is like, there is a lot more study thats not included in the contact hours - of course this depends on the person and degree, just...

    What have you eaten today?

    Dude cut down the caffeine!

    What have you eaten today?

I call fake. Surely that much caffeine would kill you, that much sugar would put you in a diabetic coma and that much fat and salt would be killing your heart. As for me not my healthiest, generally worse when I spend most of the day out. Mum would be happy she's trying to fatten me up...

Is choosing law at MAQ a bad option ?

I don't believe you can if you aren't a law student as its all about the law faculty

Is choosing law at MAQ a bad option ?

I've heard about it but haven't seen it. I am not surprised by some of the mentioned findings...they deserve it really.

    Speed reading for law

I am terrible...I hardly ever make notes I suck at summarising.

    Speed reading for law

I would just relax, make sure you have got your routine sorted (work, timetable etc) and if in the weeks before uni starts they have put your unit outlines up you can get your reading done for the first week so you are a bit ahead. Just make sure you are rested and you have sorted out all...

    Speed reading for law

Oh and don't worry about the courses, you'll learn, besides you need to take it in. Speed is not the aim

Is choosing law at MAQ a bad option ?

I think you'll find the further you go a long that it didn't actually help much. I found a lot of it was simplified or poorly explained/wrong and that its not as helpful as it seemed its not unhelpful but its totally not necessary. Good general knowledge of the legal system or sme life...

    Speed reading for law

You will gain speed as you get used to it. Even the fastest readers will read slower at the begining as it can seem very difficult to understand. You'll understand it quicker and read faster as you go a long in your degree. You will also learn how to judge what is essential to read and what you...

    What's your skin care routine?

I've found I've been getting a few more blackheads/ pimples since adding moisturiser to my routine, I've also added in a toner, if they are aimed at young skin and not supposed to clog pores will it settle down or should I change brands?

Is choosing law at MAQ a bad option ?

This, and you'll cover off legal studies in like 1-2 weeks at uni, its not really an advantage, you'll be fine :)

    Torts Law Unit

A seminar is often run like a combined lecture/tute so the first bit is a little lecture then some tute work, essentially its a big tute but usually involves some sort of lecture material at the beginning... don't think you get off that easy.
