Re: Let Them Stay: protesters gather around Australia to prevent return of asylum see No, I would constructively work to cement my merit to have access to asylum within Europe by behaving like a good moral citizen...

    law student blogs??

To be quite honest, I don't read any of it... Another thing, probably keep an eye out on the NSW Law Society (and even consider getting a student membership)... It's not necessary, I never got a Law Institute of Victoria membership while I was studying, even though it was free, but still, they...

    law student blogs??

Survive Law and Beyond Law are good blogs on the job market, study techniques, well being, etc... Otherwise, just keep an eye out on Lawyers Weekly... :)

    GFC 2.0

No, there's a game to be played, they (those who are good with money), are playing it... The fall in commodities is only a byproduct of this game... (Those who are good with money want a finger in the commodities markets, they will sink the ship for the purposes of gaining its treasures, so to...

Let Them Stay: protesters gather around Australia to prevent return of asylum seekers

Re: Let Them Stay: protesters gather around Australia to prevent return of asylum see It's actaully probably half to a quarter true... Also, places like Japan, deny Muslims from obtaining citizenship and also do not let them own any Japanese land... In Russia, couple (around 50-60) of...

    Sex Assault Attack in Cologne

I don't get the hype with people calling Donald fascist and all... By any means, the US is already to the point of fascism (Right wing, authoritarian rule, imposing rule with an iron fist, etc)...

    UNSW's new law entry??

Competency in studying Law would be to gain an ATAR that is at, or above the prerequisites of the actual course provided... Who is to say the people who do 4u maths, physics, etc will not do well at studying law... The problem is not so much with who is gaining eligibility to enrol into Law, the...

    UNSW's new law entry??

Perhaps, but it is certainly cheaper than conducting interviews with around 300-400 potential candidates... If that is not monetary benefit, I do not know what is...

    UNSW's new law entry??

Well, it is just another hurdle, for somebody who has successfully completed HSC in a manner that expresses competency to study law, it is just more "red tape," so to speak that is designed to filter people who would not necessarily struggle to study law (in other words, it can be very...

Some questions on class participation for law?

If you have any concerns about the type of persons I mentioned having the superiority complex in Law School, case in point... Parody, slightly funny... it's meant to hang shit on the other videos, but you get the picture...

    UNSW's new law entry??

Actually, this is a very, very valid point... Well said, chief... Did not actually think about that... One small pro (that affects only a small percentage of those who are intending to enroll into law) vs. a shit load of cons though...

Some questions on class participation for law?

Also, another big, big thing that can help you if you get lost... Most subjects normally have detailed course guides that are distributed in week one and that can normally be found on the portal... Follow these religiously, unless advised otherwise! They give a good brief on exam content...

Some questions on class participation for law?

    1. Lectures have about 100 - 150 people in them depending on the subject; Tutorials normally have around 20 at most. 2. Discussions are mostly about the readings for the week, if you have not done them, don't bother going, catch up on work, try and do an assignment that knocks it out of the ball...

    UNSW's new law entry??

It's become almost standard with many Law Schools in Victoria... I don't see the point of them, I personally did one, your performance in them has nothing to do with your competencies to study Law... The actual test is no different to an aptitude test you would do for a graduate role... It is...
