    Hahaha the kid's getting angry
  2. O

    How to become a stockbroker?

Since forever. Heaps of finance grads, hardly any worthwhile jobs for the bottom 95%.
  3. O

    higher return than stockmarket?

I know. Why wouldn't they try to get poor... such idiots.
  4. O

    How to become a stockbroker?

Talk crap and regurgitate what your firm's research analyst says
  5. O

    higher return than stockmarket?

Well he's got a point, why put money into something you don't understand. Do you understand the stock you're putting your money into? Do you even know what profit they did last year?

ANU vs UNSW vs USYD vs Melbourne vs Macquarie finance/commerce?

You worked in DB Sydney for 6 months and quit? Wouldn't you have gone to training for 2-3 of those months, so really you worked only 2-3 months?

Does the university you go to really matter?

No need to tell a bunch of kids anything Frigid, though I'm sure they'll be really successful in their top tier law firm jobs.

Does the university you go to really matter?

Lmao. Law school is pretentious and the same people go on to top tiers. It's just as pretentious, so don't know where you get the idea of (B) from. You obviously know very few top tier grads and probably don't know them very well.

Job prospects for Deakin v. Monash law graduates?

Ahhh half time... dang USA going to get smashed... horrible ball Oh really? From Vic Uni? Good on you... so are you doing your traineeship now or are you actually like a senior associate already seeing you finsihed in 1998. Now that I think about it, you might even be about to hit partner.

    No intelligent politicians?

Extremely horrible people. Watch Shorten try to snipe some more people in the next 6 months to climb his way up the ministerial ranks. I will never vote for a party with a man like that in it.

    Julia Gillard new Prime Minister

Hah that's so true. This is like some race to the bottom. Gillard vs Abbott - with Macklin (sp?) and Swan as deputies. What a joke this place has become. A good battle would be Libs: Costello/Turnbull ALP: Rudd/Tanner/Faulkner I think after yesterday, Australian politics has just...

    No intelligent politicians?

    This country is a joke.
  14. O

    Julia Gillard new Prime Minister

This is the sickest episode in recent Australian politics. While I'm not a Rudd sympathiser, this whole thing is just so fishy. Gillard, Tanner and Swan are the 3 in Rudd's inner sanctum. They are as culpable as Rudd for any policy failures. For two of the 3 to mount a coup like this is just...

    Important question on the LSAT

Punt $500 at black and red roulette... if you win you not only cover your costs!!

Worth doing JD at Melbourne Uni?

Yea I know that it's salaried partner. 10 years if you're fairly good to get there, to be honest. If you're great get there in 7-8 years around 30 years old. But for some people, it's going to take 15 years to make salaried partner. How long to equity partner? That I honestly have no idea...

    Pathway to become a judge?

    University of Wollogong. Try that.
  18. O

Worth doing JD at Melbourne Uni?

If you get an investment banking job straight out of uni, it pays pretty good money considering you're 21, 22 or 23. $150k for first year is probably around low. It grows quite quickly from there anyway and if you're a third year, you can more or less expect around $230k-250k, again not bad...

What do you spend your cash on?

In 1 week, around $30 - lunches $100 - dinner $15 - popcorn for movies $30/40 - parking So I spend around $185 per week. All my other expenses are paid for: - Internet (home) - Mobile (mum pays)

Which is the best uni for business/commerce/economics?

Re: which uni is best? Nah your UAI doesn't matter in the real world, except when your interviewer makes the passing remark "oh a perfect UAI" But then again if your UAI is 70 it wouldn't really make a difference if you wrote 80. Your CV will be out the door either way
