+1 I'd rather do BIGS at USYD than anything at Macq. Macq < UNSW no matter what specialist arts degree it is.

You don't have very many international student friends do you? A lot go back (during high school or uni or after undergrad) even if they are eligible for permanent residency. Some find here boring, not as homely, not as good job prospects etc... I thought you were white? Are you Chinese?
