Completely off PIP for a sec but did you know that the Russian Government is trying to ban Emo and Goth websites and music from being accessed? Just thought that could be something for you to look at for your PIP if you have't finished your it yet. :uhhuh:

I know that there is a girl in our class who hasn't started one bit of her PIP... All she did in our PIP allocated lessons during class was complain about her love life, I say have fun failing to her, I'm stuck on my cross cultural part though... :-(

I have 5, first chapter is a general overview of the topic i'm doing (domestic violence), second talks about teen relationships and how DV is evident in them, third is about society's veiw on DV and teen relationships, fourth is my cross cultural part and fifth is prevention of DV, most people...

I'm about half done (done intro, log, first chapter, half of 2nd & 3rd chapters, and all my research collecting) and I have music trial 2 days after i hand in my PIP where I have to perform at a concert, which I've never done! EEP!

Out of curiosity, anyone know if Vanessa Paradis (Johnny Depp's partner/french singer) is any good, I do know she has a new album out, my teahcer is constantly telling me to listen to french songs and read french magazines to keep my french at a strong level.

It doesn't help that board of studies seems to think along the same lines as these so called stereotypical "science/maths geeks", just look at how each subject is scaled for proof.

Our draft is due to our teacher in a week and seriously no-one in our class has done much, maybe loads of surveys and honestly that's about it. And during the hols, our teacher is making arrangements to see each one of us individually to go through our drafts and edit/polish/chop/change them so...

Everyone has to try to go and look at the HD PIPs at the state library, our S&C teacher took us for the day and it was good to see the quality and the various topics (the only thing that put us off was that most of the PIPs seemed to be from people who went to private all boy/ all girl schools)

I did a contrast between Early Beatles (Help!) and Late Beatles (Lucy In The Sky...) for 20th and 21st century and focused on how they used ethnic instruments and new technology (for their time) to develop their sound and how that influenced further genres and bands in the future... Techer said...
