actuarial at maq is top notch :) it was the first uni in aus to offer it. unsw may have the prestige over the uni as a whole, but not for actuarial. unsw and maq are on the same field for it and if not, maq would have the leading edge.

i used to get my essays to 1050 but i never finishd and always had to cut out in the exams. my pre prepared essays are now 950 words

are you confident in getting a band 6 for the subject? anything below a 90 will scale you down quiet a bit. the up side though is that its a very easy subject that with a tiny bit of study, that band 6 is achievable.
