    Teacher's choice?

Just leave ranks as it is. That's the best/fairest way.

    Burning out? Truth Or Myth?

Ahh, SC. I remember I did no work at all, and somehow came out with band 5's & 6's. Seriously, Idk what happened. I burnt out near the end of prelim, but it was more loss of motivation. So I did no work term 3, yet somehow came out of prelim exams with really good ranks. So what I plan to do...

Are teachers necessary to get a good ATAR?

My english teacher failed her hsc first time round. But she's one of the most intelligent people I've met in my life. And she's the reason I'm so interested in english. Just goes to show, a person could of just been lazy during their HSC and did nothing and get a crap atar and still be really...

    any worthwhile techniques for study?

For Eco: I just familiarise myself with questions etc. Modern: I cram. I just get notes, highlight, then cut down. Legal: Listen in class cos it's straight forward. English: Listen in class and cram for quotes last minute.

    Cut offs changing...

It just depends on how many people this year wanna get into arts. If a lot of people want to, it'll go up. If not, it could even go down. So just aim high. The Uni Course market forces will work itself out. If you work hard enough, you'll get in.

    Republican Primaries

So Perry is endorsing Newt, and I would speculate that Herman Cain and Sarah Palin's going to do so as well... so who said that Newt is "fizzling" again? Trust me, the establishment is behind Newt, so it's gonna be a fight between Ron Paul, Mitt Romney and Newt Gringrich. You guys ruled Newt out...

They have the power to take down US sites right? Does it give them power to DNS blacklist?

    SOPA and PIPA

The way I see it, is even if they take out google there's always going to be some other nerd from china setting up something google like, and since it's in a different jurisdiction, US gov can't do anything about it. At least google is "tamed" so to speak. If it was someone else, I think the US...

    Republican Primaries

Gringrich is surging in the polls because in the South Carolina debate, he said poor black kids should learn the value of work by being janitors... He got a standing ovation. lol. Moments like this makes me realise how ignorant people can be.

    Republican Primaries

Iowa is known for it's votes tampering. I wouldn't be surprised if Ron Paul actually won lol.

    SOPA and PIPA

They seemed "forced" but they gained huge amounts of profit from it as well so their was a profit motive. They weren't forced, but more like they made a mutual agreement at the coersion of the government. The banks have enough influence over the government to do what it likes. 99 percent of...

    SOPA and PIPA

I told you, both are to blame. You can't say it's "solely" the government's fault isn't fair.

    SOPA and PIPA

I don't blame the system, I blame the abuse of the system. Of course the government is to blame. Bailing the firms and banks out, yet they just gave their managers and CEO raises. But the banks are to blame as well, especially firms like the Lehman brothers who caused the market to crash in...

    SOPA and PIPA

It's the media that portrays them as weedsmoking hippies who protest for the sake of protesting. Because remember, it's mostly the corporations that pay the salary for those in the media. There's heaps of online interviews where people would ask them why they're protesting and they seem like...
