this thread made me feel better about the next 3 months EDIT: im abit confused. 75% in physics means a 90 HSC mark? and 68% for MX1 is an E4?

when we had a 5 min speech, we were told to aim for 900 words or around abouts. I was gonna say just make sure you practice it so u can talk fast without stumbling, but since u havnt written it and you have 48 hours....maybe aim for 800? 750?

Hey guys, I've been reading around and saw quite a number of you have some shares. Anyone care go explain what shares, what it includes etc. Buying some after school kinda interests me but i have no idea on all the jazz included. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

dw. in year 11 and 12, they spoon feed you everything in english. as long as u listen, know whats going on, and prepare for assessments and exams you will do fine. honestly, english is the easiest subject and im a science/math person. and make your teacher your friend. they help heaps!

dont drop just yet. wait until end of the year, once you've done your first assessment for the HSC. Then you can choose which subject you are doing the worst in. But i say dont start 2012 with 12 units or drop once school starts. Dont drop just yet though. 10 ftw

most deff memorise a generic essay. i find this is the best way as long as ur not a dumb shit that wont adapt it to the question in exam situation. i do standard eng, coming first in a cohort of about 210 and our school had 2 band 6's last year. i have alot of trouble memorising essays, or...
