    IT faculty is so inconsiderate

But i would assume the majority of business students are also full time. Yeh they manage to offer atleast one tutorial in the afternoon. And if you have half a dozen or more tutorials, it wouldn't really matter more most people if one was in the afternoon.

    IT faculty is so inconsiderate

I am doing a double degree in Business and IT. I am also working full time, so i have been doing part time consisting of two classes per semester. I have nearly done all my business subjects (including the major), but have a few IT subjects to get through. The reason why i hate IT faculty is...

As much as i am opposed to muslim expansion into power. What is the point of this ban? They should try to restrict immigration and put tougher laws against any crimes that could coem from hardline muslims.

    Greg Bird glassing conviction quashed

So all you who think this guy is guilty, what are your opinions on the woman. Do you believe she started the fight and lunged at him with the glass? If you believe that much, i would think there is a possibility of unintended consequences of the glass breaking and injury following.

    Climate change Silver linning

Well climate change could make parts of the world warmer. And if you live in a cold area of the world, and hate the tempreture, then global warming is your friend.

The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed

By normal citizens having access to guns, it also allows the criminals to have guns. It's the most backwards argument NRA in the US make when they argue that guns keep people safe. If you increase the ability of people to inflict harm on others for everyone, that doesn't make anyone safe...

    Are humans rational?

I believe that the majority of humans show a lot of irrational behaivour. I think some compartmentalise their irrationality to only small specific things in their lives, but in general majority of people have a very irrational view of the world. My primary basis to say that is the vast number...

    Free Will

some people believe every action we take is deterministic, others such as my self think that freewill is possible with intelligent beings. I don't think anyone is certain of the truth.

    christianity in the media.

I know christians who rationalise as follows: No point of charities as they are not everlasting,e vangalising is their number one motive as that will have eternal consequences.

    The next revolution?

Why a revolution? If you want to reshape the world as we know today maybe a natural disaster on the scale we haven't seen before would do the trick. A super volcano, or maybe another meteor? Or maybe just dramatic increase in global tempreture that will cause food and water shortages like we...

Rudd plans to lower voting age to 16

I swear i read another article somewhere, in which it stated that the consideration to lower the voting age to 16, would only make it voluntary for younger people. It's a win win.
