yes that’s true and so far even tho the tutors i’ve had are all ex students they’re all really helpful

but honestly even tho it’s the second lowest class still helped me jump from being an average student at school to first

i go to dr du and i’m in year 9 and so far it’s really helping me do my best as long as you have a good work drive i think it’s beneficial.

i suggest looking through the checklist ruse has on their website (I'm also applying lol) and finding as much of the achievements on it you have and there's no harm in trying for ruse, the worst that could happen is your parents waste $100 and you don't get in.

if the school has a test that is weighted much more than extracurriculars but baulko for example doesn't have a test so they do consider them much more

that’s if they pass minimum standards testing

hopefully yeah but 2023 will be the worst year for gosford's rank like the grade is very unfocused

yeah my brothers non selective school is only 4 ranks lower than mine it’s so sad

yeah and now because of that the teachers are making us hand write everything because they think that’s the issue but like it doesn’t rlly make a difference for me tbh

i disagree dropped 20 rankings in a yr that’s kinda embarrassing ngl also all the good teachers are continuously leaving
