high credit at least some work experience is also helpful...particularly in law...but non law is just fine, shows you can balance uni and work wtc.

DKF - I don't have any academic awards from uni, but I'll get a top tier law firm offer just by smashing the interview. Grades will get you the interview, thats it. So smash the interview!! :)

Telstra is a great stock for dividend yield though i wouldnt discount it so easily dpends what your risk apetite is like play mining and consumer stocks IMO only

if you want to get into law go to monash do commerce one year, get an average above 75 then transfer to com/law easy best way to do it and will get you a job in top tier law firm or IB if you are good at interviews :)

But I am applying for clerkships this year yay

its harder to get into top IB's and top Management consulting firms than a top law firm...less intake, smarter asians
