They have a provisional entrance scheme for a combined course for yr 12 students it's essentially is graduate but they are almost given a guarentee of entry, UQ, ANU, etc also have one. Usyd is the exception as it does not use umat nor require gamsat for their provisional scheme...

Undergrad med: JCU does not use umat, Usyd does not use umat for it's prvisional entry scheme but you must have ascertained a uai of 99.95+ or equivalent. Exceptions apply for indigenous, international students, etc in certain cases.

Nonetheless, that is an excellent umat result, you should get an interview at UNCLE/UNE! Think long and hard about why you would like to do medicine and please speak to your careers advisor, etc. Too many people end up doing medicine for the wrong reasons or regret it by the time it's too late...

Yeah we looked at your results obviously section 1 was a mistake being 108. When the highest recorded score was 96, that is why your post was removed.

It's great to see alot of excellent results on here! But, alot of people do badly in it my friend got 0-20% this year so doen't dispair and their are plenty of other pathways. Please PM me or create a thread/post if you need any more advice, questions, queries, etc.

Yeah, it's also happened to a few people I know. If your predicted uai and umat result are close or above the averages on the table I would ring the medfac right away. But, yeah they will be checking again once late round-offers come up god forbid they screw up someone's interview offier twice.

The uai cut-off is 93 for GWS(umat should be around 164+) and 95 for non-GWS( around 185+) UWS does not like to disclose their cut-off's. The cut off's above were last years given by admin staff, but yeah the min uai is set to go up.
