    The wire

yeh, that's what everyone's like when i start talking about it - you should watch it, you'll see why it's obama's favourite show, and my friend is australia's brainiest kid and it's his favourite show too, if that means anything to anyone.

POLL: Is it fair that teachers are allowed to teach at their child's school ?

my maths teacher's son in my maths class and it's perfectly fine; he doesn't give him any special treatment in class - if anything he probably goes harder on his son because he wants him to learn, and in fact it's better for everyone because my teacher can get feedback on how he's teaching cos...

Republic of Australia - Yay or Nay?

If becoming a republic will make the press realise that most Australian don't care about prince william visiting Australia and that it's not front page material, then i fully support the republican movement.

Re: them cityrail moments Once i was coming home from north sydney at 10pm with some friends, and we were sitting near the doors when about six drunk people came in and started partying, with two of them fully making out, then got off at the next station. Also, when i was coming back from the...

Should Muslim immigration to Australia be stopped?

thats the same for all fundamental religion, including judaism - the media only reports islamic fundamentalism cos of 9/11 and resulting fear - 95% of muslims are moderate and dont wear burqas and dont get lashed for not praying. fundamentalism has more to do with poverty and religious...

    General Thoughts: Mathematics

nah, cos with the ellipses you stop at the integer n, you don't add them all up and do n^3 again, so if n=3 it would be 1^3 + 2^3+3^3 i see where ur coming from but thats not how it works and wat does s stand for in the equation you wrote?
