buy a router they are getting cheaper now, then if your laptop does not already have wireless capabilities (which most newer ones do) buy a wireless card, follow the instructions on the router, and that way you can share internet connection, I have nothing saved on my laptop it is ALL on my PC's...

you should not have more then one of each solution installed they clash and do not work very well. If you are tech-savvy or paraniod use linux
