Just go over your techniques (metaphor, simile, alliteration etc.) and just practice the multiple choice section of the SC from previous papers? Something like that should be fine.

It's not that it's just a short period thing (as in if i take a break i'll be fine for another couple of hours), i mean i can't motivate myself to even start studying ...

Not really ready ...but i suppose it'll do. Can't really be bothered to study either (which is the worst part)!

Does anyone know if we're allowed to write on the exam paper? (and do we need to put our name on EVERY single sheet of paper that we get?)

Damn. Does anyone else just get that feeling that you can't be bothered to study? at all? (it's the day before the first exam as well) Cause that's exactly how i'm feeling at the moment, I mean i just can't motivate myself! any tips? :)

Yeah i have the same problem, but our school is generally just heaps shit ...crappy teachers, don't really have any really smart people. Altough luckily for me i'm going to a selective next year, so hopefully i'll be alright. :)

Hey kido 1, how do the questions in this years ext. 1 exam compare with those presented in the cambridge textbook? As in, if i can do everything in the cambridge textbook, would i be able to do everything in this years exam??

Hey guys do you think if i studied from cambridge extension 1 textbooks, then this exam would of been slightly easier for me (given that i understand everything in the cambridge textbook)?? Just wondering since i'm going to year 11 next year ...

Ok, list your high school and then tell us how bad it is concerning drugs ... I'll go first: Lisarow High School Pretty bad, we have alot of the people in the lower classes into drugs and it's very disturbing, hence i'm transfering to Gosford (selective! yay!) High next year.

Make a list of all the schools within a half and hour trip from where you'll live, check those schools against the top 200 lists from previous years, cross off (!) schools that do not appear in the top 200, and then maybe narrow it down to top 100 for the schools in your area ...and finally...
