I cannot see very far too, its called myopia and given the amounts of reading and time in front of PC i think i need a new pair before i graduate.

This stuff is inching closer and closer every semester, work experience before graduation.... I better plan something for next year and also get cracking this semester to bump up my law GPA. BTW does it has to be penultimate? whats the minimum? finished all 300 level law and doing 400-500 or...

I barely passed a subject where the failure rate is rumored to be astronomical. Half of the unit outline describes about how easily u can fail the subject. Not only that, but also how the final is marked and what it means if u fail. In EFS, if u pass final, u pass everything, if u get 40/40...

I also need a heads up on LAW315 constitutional and administrative law...i really hope Iain Stewart is the tutor, heard cornish is harsh and Margaret is pretty good in the tutes LAW203 torts LAW206 Crim LAW315 ... ECON311 Its going to be another tough semester.....

You do not need the textbook, the lecture readers bu Dr Whitehead are excellent, simple straight to the point. There are several copies in the reserve if u really want it, but only useful if it is referred to for the tute questions presentations

Lawrence was in charge of my crim law tute, greater teacher that really clarified the content and made clear the important parts. Very strict on rules such as mobile phones and talking, but he kept a good learning environment.

I am sick, my nose is stuffed, coughing etc... I had two take-homes on firday 2000 word and 4000 word, dropped in both today and have a test tomorrow arvo. I do not like the guilt of handing take-homes..... Luckily i ahve five FULL days after tomorrows exam to deal with another one.

So how are we coping this semester? For me, LAW314 take home exam is released not only on the same day as LAW205 but also due on the same day! Then the next day, its the LAW204 contracts exam! and 5 full days later, econ309 killer exam.

Thats a danger with group work, or economists calls it, shirking and free-riding. The safe bet for me was, write the whole thing myself and let them give me some feedback. Did 4000+ words for an easy research assignment (sources were given) by myself and the let the group members review it...

Who here has got back a catastrophic result from so much effort because you simply skipped over a minor point.... I just got back a 20% assignment, 8/20 and i found out that half of my reasoning was wrong jsut because i got facts wrong from step 1..... Anyone had a similar experience?

Final is easy I think it was 2 sections, all long answers Section 1: 4 questions just answer 2 Section 2: 2 questions, answer 1 if u look over the lecture notes it should be fine.

off topic: Allison teaches ECON359 environmental economics, she is new, apparently the elective has had 3 different unit conveners in the past 3 years....
